NFL ๐Ÿˆ Elite 8 Week 13 Rankings

  1. Kansas City Chiefs – The Chiefs have the best player in football in Patrick Mahomes and a top 10 defense. Sorry Steeler fans the Chiefs are still #1.
  2. Pittsburgh Steelers – The only undefeated team left at 11-0. The loss of OLB Bud Dupree (torn ACL) will test the best pass rush in the NFL.
  3. Tennessee Titans – QB Ryan Tannehill has quietly picked up where he left off last season and RB Derrick Henry continues to produce elite RB numbers. Combine that with a very good defense and Tennessee has a chance to make some noise in the playoffs.
  4. Seattle Seahawks – Don’t look now but Seattle’s historically bad defense has improved week after week since aquiring DE Carlos Dunlap. WR Josh Gordon has been reinstated to add to an already explosive Seattle offense.
  5. New Orleans Saints – The Taysom Hill era has started 2-0. However the Saints are still a better team with Drew Brees at QB, so they drop one spot.
  6. LA Rams – The Rams drop out of the top 5 after an ugly loss to a depleted 49ers team. If the Rams want to be serious Super Bowl contenders QB Jared Goff has to take his game to another level.
  7. Tampa Bay Buccaneers – The Bucs have a top 10 defense and a top 10 offense, so why are they 7th? QB Tom Brady is second in the NFL in passing yardage but his slow starts and inability to protect the ball keeps the Bucs from being higher on the list.
  8. Indianapolis Colts – A bad loss to the divsion leading Titans almost dopped the Colts out of the top 8. QB Phillip Rivers is finally starting to look comfortable as a Colt but he needs more help offensively. Head Coach Frank Reich has to find a way to get rookie RB Johnathan Taylor involved more in the offense to take some pressure off of Rivers.
